Fly Fishing the Surf
While many saltwater anglers believe they need a boat to catch fish, this could not be further from the truth. The beaches along Florida’s Emerald Coast provide incredible sight fishing opportunities for Redfish, Pompano, Jack Crevalle, and even Tarpon, all right from the beach.
Sight Fishing Trips
Most of our Surf Fly Fishing Charters will be sight fishing trips. On occasion we will cast into a school of mullet or through likely holes and cuts that create quality structure along the beach. While you can walk right up to the beach and see a school of fish, this is not always the case, more times than not, these trips will include plenty of walking on the beach in order to find our targets, so be ready to put in some steps. Some days we see have plenty of opportunities to cast at a variety of species, while other days we will get a couple shots. Keeping this in mind, we have a 2 angler maximum on these sight fishing trips.
4 Hour Sight Fishing Trip - $400 for 1 or 2 Anglers
6 Hour Sight Fishing Trip -$600 for 1 or 2 Anglers
While you are welcome to bring your own gear, all fly rods, reels, flies, and leader material will be provided

These trips are highly influenced by surf conditions, wind direction, and water clarity. Cancellation of these trips due to weather or any other poor surf conditions will be at the sole discretion of Gulf Coast Angler. For trips cancelled due to surf or weather conditions, a full refund will be given.
Fly Fishing Lessons
Gulf Coast Angler is excited to provide private Fly Fishing Lessons for those looking to start their journey into the world of saltwater Fly Fishing. These 2 hour lessons will include a split class focusing on proper fly casting, reading the beach, and rigging for saltwater Fly Fishing.
2 Hour Fly Fishing Lesson - $80/person
While you are welcome to bring your own gear, all fly rods, reels, flies, and leader material will be provided
